Bluehair Technology Group, The Inspiration

Founder of Bluehair Technology Group, Jane Ratliff, was inspired with an idea when her brother called her just before their mother’s 86th birthday in September of 2011. They decided to get her an iPad even though she had never turned on a computer. As an educator and trainer by degree and experience, Jane knew her mother would need to see the benefits of her new device in order to keep her interest and reduce frustration. Thus, the idea for Bluehair Technology Group was born. Jane gave her mother three months of iPad tutoring and by the end of it she was sending and receiving emails, interacting with family and friends on Facebook, and playing Words with Friends! Jane realized that this generation of adults needs personal training on current technology. They need the tools to stay connected and communicate with their family and friends as they enter the next phase of their lives.
